Streaming Services
What's more Canadian than the CBC? While Gem has a smaller library than the big US streaming services, it's packed with content that that's actually produced by Canadians. From news, to sports, movies, television, docuseries, documentaries and more - there's lots to discover that you probably won't find anywhere else.
The Nature of Things isn't on many must binge lists... but maybe it should be.

Owned by Bell Media alongside CTV and TSN, Crave is Canada's leading homegrown streaming service. They offer an impressive collection of American network television series, movies, the entire HBO catalogue, and some Canadian content including the Crave original Heated Rivalry. The Crave app is available for most platforms and while it's attracted some negative reviews, it was revamped in 2025 and generally delivers a Netflix-like experience.
